Hot Navy Metallic Smokey Eye!!

Hi guys!

Ive just uploaded a Smokey Eyes Tutorial. Hope you like/liked it!I'm focusing on creating a super-hot navy and grey metallic look on this one. This look is hot for the autumn/winter catwalk trends. It would look fab for a night out.

The 80's are back with a bang!! And so is colour, electro and punky, funky style!!About time too! It's the most fun look to create in my opinion!I'm loving the leggings, vintage t-shirts and funky accessories! Pop culture is a wonder- it all ties in together.Music, fashion, make-up, culture etc..I think it's a great time to turn to the colourful glamour of the 80's, but now with a modern twist!!

How to Re-Create the Look:
It is not too hard to find a good shimmery navy eyeshadow at the moment. Check out your local drugstore for great finds to re-create this look!
MAC also do a nice 'lil selection of navy shadows-
Deep Truth: A brighter navy shade, great with pale blue eyes
Contrast: A gorgeous deep grey, great for green or hazel eyesPlumage: Another gorgeous deep navy, with a hint of turquoise, suits all eye colours
Nehru: The deepest, rich navy, suitable for v dramatic results and great for conturing the eye for this look.
I used to Coastal Scents '88 Shimmer Palette' to create the look.

Liner was as usual, MAC kohl pencil in smoulder. I topped this off with black shadow using an angled brush. This helps keep the shadow in place.

For Mascara, use one with great staying power; I recommend Loreal 'Double Extend' mascara in black.

The cheeks should be kept fairly simple with a slight contour using MAC's 'harmony' powder blush and a slight peachy wash of colour, MAC's 'peaches' blush is a great choice for this look.

I kept the lips really nude for this look. I lined with MAC's 'spice' lipliner.

For lipstick I used Rimmel's 'nude delight' moisture renew lipstick. MAC's 'pretty please' or 'jubilee' would be gorgeous also.

For gloss I used Coastal Scents smacks gloss in 'cosmic'. I would also use MAC's lipglass in 'she's a star' to create this high gloss, nude peachy finish.

The foundation for this look can be found on my 'Foundation Basic Look' video.

I look forward to posting more vids and info for all you fab girls out there!!

Love,
Annemarie xx
